Zebra Perch

Driving through the nature reserve close to my house, I enjoy capturing various images of Zebra's. When the Egrets are hitching rides, its an added bonus. This egret had just landed on the back. Taken early morning.

This is such a beautiful image, Stu. There are so many lovely components to enjoy. The details and exposure on the bird are great and so is the pose. The perch is fabulous. Love the warm light.
The flowers in the bg add a nice depth. I could see just a bit more added to the top, but fine as is.

A lovely image Stuart I do so miss my years in the bush, though i suppose I do live in the European equivalent.
The exposure looks spot on and the BG sets a lovely sense of place. This is a Burchells Zebra is it not? Weirdly a couple of weeks ago I found myself at Lisbon Zoo and was actually able to stroke a couple of Grevys!
