No trip to Ecuador would be complete without a little bit of multi-flash hummingbird photography. Here is one from my workshops there this past January.

You gotta love those booties!

Glenn, just a fantastic image! You're right, the boots and the tail are something else!

I think the leaves on either side frame it well, but could also see a vertical crop, not including them.

Beutiful bird and beautiful image, Glenn. The red flowers and the white booties make the image nice and colourful.

You lot are killing me with these Hummingbird shots ! Sharp and wonderful colors. The big leaves give good indication of how small these birds are, but I find they steal the scene a little ....I think a verticial crop + a bit of cloning with just bird and single flower would really make a big impact on the eye.

Too bad, the sharpest feature is the huge leaf on the right side.
If you wanted to feature your photography tours, a tight vertical of the bird would have been the best.
