This is a pretty darn good flight image, Stuart. I like the pose and the light and the hint of environment. You nailed this one...and the last one too if I remember correctly.

Sits in the frame nicely Stuart, beautiful wings spread all the way as well, liking the head angle almost directly towards the camera and sharp detail, but a tad more on the head needed.....I'm in two minds about seeing the greenery...yes to adding a little more interest to the shot....maybe ?....but I also wonder if it detracts a little from the bird and lovely clean blue sky. Which ever a marvelous image and i'm disappointed we don't get the Rosette species here in Oz

I agree, it's a stunner! I like the greenery, especially since there is space between the wingtip and the start of the top of the green. Great amount of detail throughout, that's for sure!

Lovely! I think you could lighten the greens / darks a little without the effects getting into the lovely bird (or mask it later), but watch for posterization artifacts and noise.
