Hi Travis and a warm welcome to the Forum, never fear about posting and it's also good to add to threads too as you can gain so much with interaction.

Shooting in snow can be tricky, as the light often fools the metering system so you did well, saying that, can you add the camera, lens and if you changed the EV please.

I think it might have been better to have had the space to the LHS rather than the right, seems to balance better and give room for the idea of the animals to walk into. I assume based on the males behaviour this is in the rutting season? I would suggest adjusting the Levels and also adding a Curves/Highlight shadow adjustment. The Levels adjustment will help overall, bringing in the RH slider, the other two will open up more of the shadow area in the faces & horns. Be careful when applying sharpening as there are halos around the horns of both.
Look forward to your contributions here on BPN.

Hi Travis - welcome to the Wildlife Forum and a very nice first post. The falling snow adds to the scene and I like the eye contact pose from the one and then the open mouth of the ram. It almost looks like he is trying to catch the snowflakes. I agree with Steve that I would prefer more room to the left than the right. As always, Steve has made excellent pp suggestions to take it to the next level. Looking forward to seeing more of your images.

TFS,
Rachel
