Taken at Longwood Gardens a few weeks ago using a 180mm macro lens.

Processed in Elements 10: I did a lot of things to this image over a period of weeks, including: Viveza, CEP: Lighten Center, Brilliance/Warmth, Tonal Contrast, Vignette Blur; Topaz Detail >Sunset II; and more.

C&C requested.

This isn't a delicate little flower. It looks like it's on fire, and that's an attention-getter. The bright yellow and orange fading into a smokey red is both unexpected and dramatic. I like the composition and processing.

Anita, I think this is perfectly processed. I wouldn't change a thing:S3:

Anita, this is stunning! The deep saturated color with the inner glow of the stamens, the soft folds and subtle shadows, the gentle OOF areas all together make this alive and somewhat mysterious. Superb!
