Excellent pose. As you were contemplating about the amount of sharpening, I have to say it is a bit too much IMO.

Yes it is a bit oversharpened, the BG is fine.
It is also a Red Tailed hawk in my part of the world.

Giovanni, the repost looks a lot better to my eyes. Lovely warm light and killer back ground. The wing pose is very dinamic!

Hello
thanks to all
For me there is a dominant colour green.
Do you see it ?
Is possible change it using filter photographic option in cs6 colour magenta ?
Thanks

If you look at the whites on the bird, you can see that what you are seeing is more of a yellow cast. I just took the picture into PS. Try doing a Color Balance layer and +10 on the blues on the Yellow/Blue slider. You'll see a big difference in the color. Maybe someone else has some advice on how to improve even more since PS really isn't my forte.

As far as your repost, the bird looks a little squeezed into the right corner so I would probably give it a little more room on the right and top and probably some off of the left.

You have a very nice flight pose here and I think you'll be very happy with the finished product!
