Took this shot a little after sunrise this past summer. The stilts were active and would give some erratic flyby's early. Very fun. All C&C appreciated.

Hi Lyle, well exposed on the wings, and stands out nicely against the BG. Comp wise, due to the flight pose, I would crop up from the bottom to create a pano crop. ( just above the brown line )

I'd crop from just below the brown line :). Sharp. I wish that the bird were angling slightly towards you rather than slightly away.

You have a nice sharp bird photographed in good light. Wish he weren't flying slightly away. This is the crop I would consider since I find the lower brown portion a bit harsh next to your lovely stilt.

Thanks all for the feedback! I was worried to try a tighter crop d/t IQ concerns, but it seems to hold up fine. The tighter crop definitely makes for a stronger image. The slight turn away has always slightly annoyed me with this frame, but I have always liked the background.

Appreciate you taking the time to rework my image.

Nice flight shot. The wing position is not ideal but still looks very nice. The crop could be tighter.
