Nice pose, good sharpness, and an attractive pastel BG. The bird is perhaps a little too centered in the frame. I'd crop some from the right. Why such a high ISO?

Thanks Doug. I was playing a bit with the ISO. Just thought of checking the result with high ISO :)

Lovely pose on this bird. I like the perch, the background (BG) and the fact that you can see its feet. It looks a tad too bright overall on my monitor, and I agree with Doug about trying to keep the bird out of the center. I understand your reluctance (my assumption) that you wish to keep the vegetation in the frame which is why you didn't place the bird more to the right, so I have tried something a little different to keep your vegetation. It's unconventional, but I sort of like the way he appears to be peering out of the frame. This keeps your vegetation and adds a little uniqueness. I also brought down the overall brightness a bit.

Thanks Marina! I kind of like this too. You are right that I actually wanted to keep the vegetation and hence compromised with the bird's position on the frame.
