Glorious shot Bill ! Incrediblyy sharp and the light is as good as it can possibly be, great water movement and texture, love the water merging into the sky as well.

Curious, does this duck have a clipped wing as the far wing seems to have stumpy primary feathers

Thanks Phil. I didn't notice the far wing until I got the image onto the computer. I can't explain it. On the frame just prior to this the wings are in a forward position, and the primaries are intact. It must be the way the far wing primaries were folded in this frame.

I think the far wing primaries are curled out away from the viewer, giving the illusion of being cut off.
