One of the prettiest of all birds found in India is the APFC. The male is stark white with a long tail and unmistakable in its flight (yet to get a decent picture of the full grown male). This one here is a sub adult male which was trying to impress an adult female with a bee offering. One can notice the moulting feathers already cropping on the brown coat.

This is really nice Supreet.
I like the BG and the diagonal perch and the good HA.
Noise control very good for the 7D at 1600ISO.
I see a bit of a sharpening halo around the beak and the back.

Very nice perch and great BG. I would have brought down the exposure a bit as well as ISO and gone for a slightly slower SS for a static bird as IQ is suffering a bit so I am not sure if its the high ISO or PP which affected it...I thnk the image has potential and I have to agree with you on what a cool bird.

Lovely bird, image design, and BKGR. I'd crop a bit off the front if it were mine to get to ture 2X3. Though all the JPEGs look a bit funky here at 35,000 feet on the way to DFW and then Sacramento, the area below the beak here looks a mess.....

Hi Supreet, lovely pose looking along the line of the perch, especially with the raised crest. I like the smooth BG, but agree, toning down the overall image will work.

Great looking species, I also see a halo under the bill and on the neck.
