Hi Mike,
I like this.
I am not usually a fan of high key but I find this image very appealing.
I like the raised foot and the nice body and head angle.
Do you have a shot with the entire reflection? I think that would be cool,
Gail

Excellent high key image, Mike. I like the raised foot, head turn and the fine partial reflection.

Hi Mike - great pose and the high key works. I just wish the whole reflection was there.

Mike,

Nice high key image. I think that since the water is so still, a full reflection would be neat to see.

I like the comp, the raised foot, and the slight head angle. I would consider a touch of contrast.

Hi Mike, the colours of the Plover pop nicely against the high key BG. Well timed to capture the raised foot, and as the reflection seems clear, I too wouldnt mind seeing a full reflection.

Terrific shot.
Love the pose with the raised foot, exposure is spot on, nice details, and love the high key.
Very well done.

Hi Gail,

I agree it would be very cool but, unfortunately, the reflection distorted very quickly after what you see here.

Very pleasing image, Mike. Love the leg up and the stray feather. High key works nicely here. Your horizon is off just a hair if you use the "knee." I just brought it into PS and cropped from just above the body and left...not necessarily better but different and does focus a little more on the lovely subject.
