An image from my recent quick foray on the Chobe river in Botswana. What a magnificent part of Africa!

Photographed from the river in our specialised photographic boat with 360-degree maneuverable swivel seats and built-in customised gimbal heads, which will be used on our Chobe safaris from this year onward.

Techs:
Nikon D800 with Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8 VR-II @ 180mm
f11 @ 1/500 SS @ ISO-400
Pretty much full frame @ 36 megapixels
I can see this one going up on a wall somewhere printed 2 meters high on fine art canvas or paper...:t3

Morkel - Beautiful and I love the tones. I can also see it has a big wall hanging. Great separation between the giraffes.

Hi Morkel, pretty cool. Love the expanse & ratio of sky to land with just enough detail in the FG.

This is pretty cool, great tones and nice feel of texture! I agree with Rachel about seeing it on a large print on the wall.

Hi Morkel,
like the design with the tones and contrast , coming altogether , ending up as a nice work.

Really interesting looking sky with the giraffe silhouette in the FG.

If this was mine a would go for classy B/W without the tint.

Well done , Morkel

Wow, couldn't like this any more. Tons of subtle details to like with this.

I also like the tones as well as the 3D effect of this image. It may need a bit of CCW rotation but it is hard to tell because the right giraffe's legs are vertical.

Believe it or not, Morkel, I have a very similar photo from my last day at Etosha, which I processed in the flight coming back home :w3 Will post that evil twin in the days to come!
Besides that, superb capture! I love the softness and the look you've created here in PP, and the skies have been smiling upon you!
