Another creative image Fabs. I like the bottom part a lot with the shape of the 'border' and the colours and textures of the leave, but I find the top quarter with the OOF white distracting. Were you forced to shoot this handheld at ISO1250?

Thanks, VIncent. I was not carrying a tripod and the D3 is so clean in ISO it doesn't make a difference. I didn't do noise reduction at all.

Amazing! Of course I have heard others rave about that D3, it is just still unbelievable to me, not having worked with a camera with that kind of capabilities...

I like it very much Fabs but I wish I could see more of the the patterns and colors under the leaf :(

Very nice anyway and love the D3 high ISO.

Another interesting composition Fabs. I am gradually learning to look outside the square!! Well done!

You certainly have a way with the camera, Fabs. Beautiful color; beautiful composition. I need to start working with tubes and tc in order to get even closer into the flowers. You're providing inspiration, Fabs!

Hey Fabs, I like the flow and of the patrterns in the FG but the BG isn't working for me. It seems a little to plain.
