Very nice take-off pose and setting. I would sharpen it a bit more and wish for better eye contact.

It's a shame that the head is soft but the action is great with the bird leaning to take flight

the soft head here is really hurting this one. Excellent attempt at catching the action however. Please keep posting.

It seems that the wings are sharp and that the head is soft at least in part because it is not on the plane of focus. That is just one reason that a proper head angle is tantamount to the success of most images. Do love the light and the luxuriant new growth. EXP good too.

Great pose, exposure...just wish the head was sharp (as others mention).
