Don't know if this works or not?
This guy just caught a mouse and is holding it. You can see the tail and back legs under the tail of the bird.
The background was on a blue sky. I shot an out of focus shot of some trees in the background and replaced the background with the OOF shot.
So easy to change. PS - Color range then cut with a -1 pixel edge. Then went around the bottom just a tad to get some of the white out.

7D, ISO 640, 500mm, F4.0, 1/5000

Hi Gary, Image.. Looks Fantastic.. and Mouse tail add much in it.. Great details and lights..

Yes, it looks good in Green BG, and its always works as we compare to blue sky. But to change the whole Background is always good.. I am little Confused in this..
Let see what other s have to say...:)

Hi Gary,

Nice capture of the Kite. The spread out wings, and the prey in its talons are a great addition.

I think that the greenery in the bg looks great, but I can see some of the blue on the far wingtips. That may just be part of the wings, not sure.
