Nice colors, head position, one foot just peaking out.

It def. needs some CW rotation, and because of the head position, I would crop a little from the right, personal taste.

Nice vertical, Stuart. Agree with Randy on the rotation. If you use a ruler on the bird's leg's you will see that the legs don't match the reflection. If it were mine, I would crop from the bottom, right and a little from the top if the image can handle it.

Fine detail and good exposure, the subject is well shown in habitat, the pose is good and there is a good clear view of the eye. I wonder if a little clockwise rotation is called for.

Stuart,

Nice image with a great contrast between bg and subject. I think Randy and Marina nailed the critique. It needs some CW rotation and I think you have the IQ to crop from both the bottom and right sides.
