Suddenly we got the snow back and three goldfinch came into the garden. I thought they had all gone to northern Germany so I was really happy seeing them again. I tyhink they are such lovely birds.

with kind regards

Sharp and very nice IQ.
I wish the branch did not intersect the tail.
Beautiful BG to go with the bird although I think a crop off the top and the bottom would look nice.
Interesting that your Goldfinches do not look like the North American variety.
While ours are nice, yours are even more attractive.

Patricia:

AS Dan mentioned, your goldfinches are really nice looking. Well exposed, lovely colors.

I might try to soften the dark areas in the BG a bit, esp the clump behind the bird.

The one talon raised above the perch is cute.

Agree with Dan about the the branch intersecting the tail.

Glad you had the opportunity for this beauty.

Cheers

Randy
