Going through some of my images from last years March tour as I look forward to this years upcoming tour........I never get tired of photographing Osprey!!! This one dove into the shallow water one late morning and this as just as he was emerging from the water. You can see his catch dangling just coming out of the water.
ISO 800 at f/8 and 1/4000 sec.

Amazing timing and great composition. Many times I have witnessed this action in person, but don't have a shot to show for it because I was just awestruck by the skill of the bird (and the action happens very fast)!

Awesome capture, amazing action. The splash, the catch, wing position & HA make this special.

Great job, Roman, love the moment you have captured here, and that little lip of wave and the splash behind. Super exposure, sharpness, and I like your comp.

Roman:

Nice action, timing, water spray, birds angle in frame, and positively capacious crop by your standards!

Cheers

Great capture Roman! I think I was standing next to you when you got this...You kept telling me the wait to hit the shutter..of course I listened and got a vey similar image! Exposure looks good and head angle is perfect.

You got the perfect moment.
I am surprised at the crop from you.
I think a bit off the right would look nice.

The first thing I thought of was- what a roomy crop for Roman!!
Great action captured and tack sharp as well.Light was a bit harsh so I find the image a bit contrasty and would adjust accordingly,

Great shot.
Terrific wing position, exposed very well, great IQ, and really like the water trail.
Well done.

Hi Roman, good low perspective, and excellent timing to capture the catch, together with the raised wings of the Osprey. Exposure looks good, and certainly sharp. If this were mine, I would selectively sharpen the droplets a touch. :w3
