You must have been posting when I was Jim! Awesome action.....even the added magpie!Snow looks a touch bright on my monitor.....I would probably tone down the strip in the upper part a touch more than the FG. That is a fantastic moment captured!

What a dramatic moment captured, Jim. Given that locked position, such a great view of both eagles' eyes. Neat that the juvie seems to be dominating the adult and to see the adult's tail acting as a base. And love that ringside magpie. The view of the fish (and its eye!) and the blood there really tell the story. Great sharpness for your SS. Pretty stellar image.

What a compelling image Jim. Super dramatic. Looks like the magpie is looking to profit from their stand-off :)

This an incredible action image with both of these beautiful birds wings at full stretch. I love the intense stare of their eyes.

Wow Jim,
This is terrific.
The image really tells a great story and I think the magpie is the ultimate winner.
Wonderful low POV and nice to see the juvie and adult in the same frame,
Gail
I don't know how you feel about cloning but I would get rid of the line of white snow to the left of juvies head.

There are so many elements to this terrific image, my eyes keep darting all around it looking for more pieces to the puzzle. Terrific action and the sharpness on the eagles is amazing. Love the signs of blood and the environmental elements and extra bird is a huge positive for me for the story.

Hi Jim, this is a real action moment captured perfectly. Interestng that the Juvi seems to be dominating the adult, and how the adults left foot is protecting himself. Good wing positions from both eagles, sharp, and the sight of the fish over which the battle is being fought adds to the image. An opportunity very well used.

nice one Jim! Great action - perfect exposure. What do you think of the magpie on the right? Would you ever clone it out? I might, but I think it works just the way it is too.

Awesome, just awesome action, the kind of work your known for Jim. Always enjoyed your crazy action galleries like the Snowy Egret with the massive gar fish leaping out of the water, or the crow riding the owl "bareback baby".
