Thank you all for sharing your comments, critiques and photos. They've helped me grow as a photographer (I hope ;)

From my recent visit to the Bosque Del Apache.
It was fun keeping an eye out for the occasional Blue morph from a flock of their more plentiful cousins and then try to isolate it.
I didn't mind the shadow too much in this case, but in an ideal world ...

Thanks again for all your help.

This is so nice!
Glad you saved this for a special post (2000th), I hardly notice a shadow.
Beautiful multi colored Goose, nice pose and very nice IQ.
Congrats!

Hi Sid, congrats on your 2000th, and may you go on to many more.

Another great flight pose, with good detail on the belly. Isnt it great to capture fast flying subjects - even better when you nail them like this. This location seems to produce killer BG's, just like what I have back here in Pilanesberg. Cheers.

Congrats on your 2000th post. Great color and exposure on this one. The detail is very nice and the BG is complementary to the subject. The wings up pose makes the shot great and the shadow isnt a problem for me. Nice work.

Congrats - love the mottled look of the feathers - not overly fussed by shadow. The under wing is nicely lit. Great place and I really enjoyed my first visit last year!!

A big high-five for your 2000th!

Very nice image, love the Snow Geese and you've exposed this individual perectly. Sharp, great wing position, and a sweet BG that I would be tempted to bump the saturation on.

Beautiful image, Sidharth, and congrats on your 2000th post! Cool to get such a great view of a blue morph in flight, and your angle, exposure, sharpness are excellent. I love the color of that background too.

Here's to the next 2000...and if we go by your track record....they should all be awesome. Well done and thanks for sharing everything.

this one's right up there amongst all these shots we see from Bosque. Terrific exposure, BG and details. If you head up north here, let me know. We can check out the geese that winter here on the Texas Oklahoma border. I haven't been there yet this winter...has been pretty cold and wet here since Christmas.
