Taken a few minutes ago in my backyard.
Nikon D4, ISO800, 1/250 @ F5.0, 500mm, -2 EV, flash, tripod

This is my first post using the Better Beamer.

Roy:

Very nice. I suspect your Beamer will become a great friend, I know mine is.
The flash work is subtle, just like I like it. Only the catchlight gives it away for sure, since it is below the horizon line in the pupil.

Sharp, well exposed, like the snow falling.

Nice pose.

I might crop a sliver off the top.

Very nicely done by controlling the flash/ambient. I wouldn't have guessed that you used flash at all - and I just learned about the catchlight being below the horizon as a sign (thanks Randy).

Looking forward to some more if you have them!

Beautiful subject on a beautiful perch, posing in front of a beautiful BG. I'm liking the falling snow. I feel the subject is a little bit low in the frame, and I would eliminate the extra bit of OOF snow at bottom edge. Super nice though, nice work!

Thank you everyone. I'm finding the better beamer a little frustrating to use, hard to get any info on the internet on how to use it properly.
