Well the image is sharp but awkward, well its different :)

If would have a chance at being okay if both wings werent clip-cut. And the big feather gap looks strange.

Interesting pose on the Heron. I agree it feels awkward. Maybe a crop where the wings are equally sized in the frame would work a bit better? I tinkered a bit, hope you don't mind. This may not be what you wanted though...
