This sunset was captured at 7:30p.m. last Tuesday at Anhinga Trail. Mother Nature was painted with a Nikon D200 ,using a Nikkor 18-200mm VR f/3.5 - f/5.6
focal length @ 56mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / matrix metering / 1/250sec - f/10
exposure comp @ +2.7EV / ISO @ 800 / white balance @ auto / AF Mode @ AF-S /
color mode @ sRGB / tone comp @ 0 / hue adjustment @ 0 deg. / saturaction factor @ 0 /
no tripod / no filters /

gus, i'm not the one to be critiquing a landscape image, by no means!! so i will defer to someone else. but i do like the sunburst!!

Gus when taking those images and wanting to do the sunburst stop down to f 22.0 Will get it most of the time !!!!

Will play with the densities a bit see what I can come up with !!!

Hi Gus Downloaded the image and tried to enhance the sunburst but have to do it in camera. Unless you use some sort of filter.

Can play with local contrast and fine tune the clouds Endless possibilities If you do remember to feather the selection When doing the sky I usually feather 50 or more pixels Makes it look seamless !!!!

Hey Gus!

I am not too good at landscape stuff but just did a quick thing here for kicks. I was always told to pump up the contrast with silhouette shots and maybe even some sunset stuff so i tried it, also cloned out a couple hot spots....this is a 3 min job so you can do better...way better! ;)
