Hi Morkel - well done. I like the way the slope leads us into the image and the clouds below. Nice tones to the ground and rocks too. F16 was a good choice.

Morkel, I Like this image a lot. The foreground is sharply focused, and interesting, providing a lot of depth to the image. The fog in the background valley provides some drama to the image. Overall, the image conveys (to me) the feeling of solitude.

Hey Morkel,
The mood is fantastic in the image and VG sharpness throughout. I don't know why the FG was bothering me a bit but I did the old browser crop from the bottom....eliminating the rock on the LR just above the shadow of the 6 o'clock lighter rock middle bottom. For me it strengthened the comp for some reason. Overall, a very dramatic image with great feel to it.

Hi Morkel, After looking at it I like Roman's suggestion. The image is well executed technically and has alot of interest. Well done!

Hi Morkel,
I like the misty stratus clouds in the valleys. IQ is excellent, but agree with Roman and Dave as to the foreground interest. The foreground is probably too busy and by cropping a bit of the foreground, it will simplify the image and reduce the business of the foreground. Just my 2 cents worth.
Best wishes and thanks for sharing,
Mark.

Thank you all for the feedback and suggestions. Here's the crop as I interpreted your comments - let me know if you think I should shave some more?? :S3:

Hi Morkel,
I took the liberty of cropping a little bit more from the image, " What do you think" I prefer the reduction in foreground rocks and an oblique line now runs from the bottom left into the image.
Best wishes,
Mark.

Morkel,

I like the second post better - Roman had a good suggestion.

Mark, too much FG is lost in your view IMO as that is the stronger element in the image.
