Till I can shoot more images with my new 500, I shall continue to post some with my existing gear.
This one is a head on portrait of a young langoor that i clicked on a hill in central India.

Sanjeev,

Good portrait image of your subject. Looking straight at the camera strengthens the impact. My preference would be to crop more from the bottom so the arms are not so obvious.

This image really works for me. Like the way he is looking right at you, and the comp works well for me. Your BG really enhances.

Hi Sanjeev - nice head on portrait. I agree with Robert on some from the bottom and might even go to a square-ish crop if the IQ will hold up.

TFS,
Rachel

Hi Sanjeev,
another vote for a nice head on portrait.
Agree about the crop already mentioned by others, but no square for me.

Like the subtle coloration and the tones in the image.

Nice portrait. Agree with a little off the bottom.

Hi Sanjeev, crop and upping the ISO (no too much), just worry about those SS :w3

Was it the 100-400 lens?
