Congrats on a great first post Peter. Excellent exposure and sharpness. I've never seen an Inca Tern; they are beautiful. Can't wait to see more of your work.

Big Welcome Peter !!!!!! Beautiful bird which I'm not familiar with at all !!! Sharp well exposed and great head angle !!! If it is fine with you would clean up the some of the prominent white spots

Cropping wise its just a mater of taste but like to see the eye further back in the frame with a slight crop from the left and bottom !!! Love your image and looking forward to seeing more !!!! Muy Bueno !!!!

Hello Peter,

This is one of my favorite terns sp. Where is the image taken, is it a wild bird? 99.9% of inca images on the web are all from Zoos :(

Beautiful image, the gray and blue colors tones are great. Sharpness is great also.

I think more room of the right would make the image better, but that is a minor issue.

Hi Robert,
The picture is taken in Callao port in Peru. It is a wild bird and quitte common at the coast and are not shy. They have there favorite resting places.Just wait and they are comming close.
White spots are waterdrops.
Thanks all for the comment

I like the portrait style you chose here. The fine details on the neck and slight shadows highlighted are nice. The yellow and white markings are very unique, well exposed. The beak seems a bit bright as to the sun reflection, but a very minor mention. I do not mind the tight crop. Welcome and keep posting your fine images.
