Bosque Trees

I used my 500mm lens for this one. I added the Topaz Simplify BuzSim filter and a texture overlay. I was waiting for the snow geese to blast-off, my eye kept getting distracted by this scene with the last bit of light coming through the trees. I decided to take my eye off the flock-change my settings and go for it! I ended up missing the blast-off but I ended up with an image I like so I guess it all worked out.:S3:

The colors are wonderful, and the geese add a lot. I took a look at it with some cropped off the top but dismissed it as a bad idea when I realized that the diagonal that parallels the one through the center would be lost. Nice job with the texture and Simplify.
