Fishing Spirit Bear

A Kermode bear trying to catch salmon, Gribbell Island, BC, during the October salmon run. The sun came out at exactly the wrong moment, allowing for more shutter speed but creating some really annoying highlights on the water. I toned them down a little, but maybe should crop them out altogether.

Great action very well captured. IMO back light did add little more drama to this image and you handled it very well too.
One of my bucket list bears. Hoping to get there sometime to photograph them.

Fantastic action and use of the available light here, Ignacio. Low angle and spraying water adds a lot - I always enjoy seeings these 'blonde' bears.
Perhaps in need of a slight CW rotation?

I like the action and framing. Just find the water a little to sharp and the colours are much better, less saturated, when it has a Profile attached.

Once you have your final file, cropped, sharpened and ready for web, what do you then do? If you use Convert to Profile & Save for web can you send me screen captures of those two windows.

Nicely timed capture. I like the splashes and the leafy, green BG. Wouldn't have noticed the highlights across the bottom if you hadn't mentioned them and they look to be a perfectly natural part of the scene.
