While I struggle a bit with my identification of some of the shore birds, I believe that this is a herring gull in its first winter. I'd appreciate a correction if I'm in error on the ID. I captured this image at Little Estero Lagoon last February, as the gull checked out the remains of a fish in the shallow surf. All C & C appreciated.

Liking the subtle color in this, nicely placed in the frame I think and sharp detail, clear eye too, raised legs adds life and interest as does the well used fish

Well captured Mike - Lovely sharp image and the raised foot & food in the gull's bill adds lots of interest to this composition.

Nice detail and exposure on this shot. The raised foot and the fish in the mouth adds to the pic. Maybe a touch more saturation to the color? Well done.
