Spied this little Newholland Honeyeater extracting a bit more than nectar from some flowers,...I wonder if birds feel embarrassment :e3

Oh thats so comical Phil - couldn't help laughing out loud..!! Looks like he's off to a fancy-dress ball, but I think he's a bit embarrassed being photographed :S3:

Hi Phil, it took me a bit of time to see what was going on - hope he got rid of the flower, certainly comical and different. I would liked to have seen some space behind the tail.

A fun picture! Lots of bright, vibrant colors.
As I am sure you posted it for the content I will not critique except to say i wish for more space on the left,
Gail

Well seen, and lots of fun. I too would like more space to the left
particulary fond of the yellows which are very good here. The whole thing is very busy and vibrant but works because of the fun element

Or, how about an alternative of cropping in on the left, to loose the tail where it extends out past the red flowers? (And maybe a little off the bottom.) That brings more attention to dilemma of the bird's face.

How funny!

I'm not sure the tail really bothers me.
It is close to the edge but it is also a little soft so it isn't a major element in the image.
Maybe if it were even a little softer it would become a non-issue.

Diane's suggestion is also very interesting.
