This was made the last week of October during the big snow event. We were in the clouds and it was beautiful! It was almost black and white but I used Nik Silver Efex on it.

5D Mk II, 24 - 105, f8, 1/250s, ISO 400.

I really like the minimalistic feel created by the disappearing road and the black/white feel here Judy.
The curved road works nicely too. I would have liked a sliver more space at the bottom - not sure if you have it. All-in-all a fine image! :5

Thanks Morkel. I did crop some off of the bottom. I may re-do it when I have time.

Hi Judy - I still can't believe this is only a day or two after I left the Smokies and temps had been in the 70s. I also like the tone of this and the curve in the road. Nicely processed.

TFS,
Rachel

Nice one, the fog really ads atmosphere to the picture. The road is a good viewing line in this picture

Hi Judy, Your image looks great to me. When you have NIK Efex, try out the Glowing tool on the white. Works great here and there. Give it a try and judge yourself. I use it sometimes on B&W on the clouds, fog, water of LE images!

ciao Anette

Hi Judy,
I like the composition of your image and the curvature of the road really leads the eye into the image. The snowy landscape contrasts really well on the left side to that of the right.
TFS and well done. Best wishes,
Mark.

Hi Judy,
I too like the mood and feel of the image. I might be tempted to take some off the top as that further emphasizes the road even more leading you into the scene. Minor tweaks to a very nice image!

Thanks for all the nice comments! Sorry I didn't revisit the image earlier and reply sooner.
