Signature on photo.

I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to walk me through the steps of attaching a signature to my image. I have photoshop CS3.

Lots of different ways to do it. Depends on the look you want. Perhaps you could clarify the question.

I was hoping to put my name on my image in one of the bottom corners.
It doesen't have to be my actual signature, but something in a writing form.

Also, if by some chance you're using Breezebrowser, you can add a
signature that way (Tools->Proof).

I am new to the digital imaging game, I can't find a text button.
Will the copyrite symbol show up on the corner or in the middle? Is it quite visible?
Will it show up on a jpeg and a raw image.
Can I instal it at anytime during my workflow?
