This is a very nice image with excellent detail and color throughout. Great job with the fill light. The focus is spot on as well.

I would love to see a bit more room all around. It doesn't look like you had much light, but if you could have closed the aperture down some to gain extra dof, that may have worked as well.

Truly a special image you have here. The colors and details are amazing. Great pose and good use of flash. I would like to see just a tad more room all around.

Thanks Miguel for the kind words...
Yes the light was low when U made this..I wished too for extra DOF, but losing shutter speed scared me...getting the iso up on the 7D was also scary... regarding the more room around ...he was just there for few seconds...had shot this horizontally and it has been cropped vertically..also have added up some canvas on the top...these flycatchers sometimes land too close or land too far off.

Very nice and sweet, good flash work, excellent detail and nice BG. Agree with some more space around if you have it. Nice work.

nice pose, details and a good HA. it does have just a little bit of flash look to it, perhaps warming the colors would help

Nice capture. Nice detail in the bird. Wish a bit more DOF so the perch and tail was not OOF. TFS

Wow, I love this. It looks like a Mourning Warbler X Least Flycatcher hybrid. I have not read anything above but must say that I love the sharpness and the colors. And I am fine with the limited d-o-f.

This look very much like our Eastern Yellow Robins we have here, lovely shot and my own personal tastes suggest I like it filling the frame as is, but possibly a little over flashed
