Seems like summer was a long time ago and it lasted for just a couple of days!
All C&C welcome.

Hi Jon. Another nice one! Good head-to-tail sharpness and I like the diagonal of the stem and the fact that the yellow stripes on the thorax aren't blown (which can happen very easily). If this was mine, I might be tempted to blur some of the more distinct stem/leaf edges in the background a bit more (a minor point). This is very well done!

Steve I am particularly pleased you commented on the yellow stripes, I have processed these repeatedly with ACR and with DPP and consistently ACR came out best. If you look carefully you can see a blood vessel in the lower yellow band.:w3

Hi Jon, this is an exceptional caputure! Sharpness is good all around, colors a great and natural and you have a killer BG. I do think there is a little too much room on top.

Hi Jonathan,
a very well done image. I like the subject placement and how you captured the color tones on the body so well.

Color, tone, bg and overall sharpness - all are working fine.
Good work, liked much.

Very nice. My only suggestion would be to add a little more canvass on the left, because it is a little too tightly cropped for my taste.
