I think they are more attractive at this age than when they are mature.
Sort of a male/female cross.

Beauty of a shot, Dan. The shooting angle spotlights the bird - and wow, that water. Hey, wonder if you could go a tad brighter - or is that just a matter of taste?

You really got the full-on stare here Dan. Lovely colours in the bird and the gold and green tones of the water make for a very pleasent image. Nice one!

Very sweet and pleasant image.Love the pose, nice colors, details and lovely water.
Would go for slight crop at the bottom to give panorama view.

Satish.

Dan:

Great eye contact, nice colors. I do agree with Satish about a crop from below, the reflection is weak, so not a big loss to tighten up the comp a bit.

Cheers

Randy

Exposure, details, and colours look good. I find the subject a little high in the frame and perhaps some slight CCW rotation needed.

Hi Dan, Good eye contact, and I really like how you have brought out the head of the duck in this. As is, Im fine with the placement of the duck, but if you cropped up from the bottom, the placement would still look good. Yes to a touch of CCW rotation.

What nice eye contact and pretty water. Good suggestions above to consider might make this fine image even stronger.

I like the eye contact, sharpness and water colour. I would crop up from the bottom too. Nice image Dan.
