Taken recently at a local pond, about 20 C Terns have been feasting away none stop!

Love the capture! Great wing position and sharpness. I don't minde the looking away. Lucky you got a catchlight in the eye.

Pose and action look, I only find the BG a bit distracting.

Hi Raymond,
I like your capture, I like the action here with the speared fish in his bill. The wing position is great, showing the details under the wing. His head is turned away from you but thats ok because the fish saves the day. My recommendation on this lovely image woud be to tone down or lighten ( soften ) the dark vertical lines in your background...:D

Love the pose and speared fish, Raymond. Richness of the colors is a plus for me too. I agree the bg might be a bit busy.

I really like the speared fish and the water droplets trailing off his feet. I also like the layered bg, but the vertical elements are distrating to me.

Hi Raymond,

I think this image can be a 1/2 stop lighter. The darks are bothering me. I also find the BG a little distracting.
