Hi Bill, great eye contact, and love how the owl is nestled in the fork of the tree. Apart from the slightly different colours of the tree bark and Owl, he could quite easily camouflage himself. I do like the detail of the plumage too.

Hurricane Sandy sure was one heck of a storm, and our prayers go out that all survived during that torrid time.

Thanks Stuart. I suspect that if left up to his own devices, he would not have selected this tree. I've seen them on branches that are a perfect match for their plumage.

Nice shot. Both eyes without shadows and with catch lights isnt as easy as it looks, takes the right setup and head position. Nice camo on the owls behalf too. Good job.

Awesome setup, and this pose is perfect to hide the jesses (if there were any). Everything looks natural, and the techs / processing are top notch. It's always easier in hind-sight, but it would have been nice to place something in the BG in LRC to hide the busy stuff there.

Thanks everyone. Good point, Daniel. I did burn the LRC a little, but should have gone the extra step and cleaned it up. It will be an easy fix.
