Here's another image from my trip to Texas. Attracting raptors to you using Alan's ebook techniques provides you with many more photographic opportunities than you would ever get on your own, and the quality of those encounters can be nothing short of spectacular!

If we needed proof of Alan's attraction techniques, this sure does it. Great diagonal comp, BG, and of course the eye contact. Great shot.

very nice what techniques did you find worked? I got my self and owl and put it in the field but the hawks just flew past and didn't seem to care.

Doug, very nice indeed! Look forward to seeing more from the series. And I agree, Alan's ebook is something else! I bought it and read it all this weekend. I look forward to trying out some of the techniques.

Corey - I believe that some of the techniques are labeled as low percentage. But when they work, well, the images speak for themselves. I haven't tried the owl out yet, but I also don't know of a good spot to go after the hawks. Remember to read the chapter on camo, as I feel that is AS IMPORTANT as the set up with the owl. If they can see you, they won't stop.

That is a perfect head on photo, Doug.
The layered BG is very nice and the bird is sharp as can be.
