A very nice composition Allen - sharp and good HA. Did you you have a choice of perhes Allen?

Hi John, no, this was not a set up. I saw the bird in a brush pile and waited on the shot.

Fox Sparrows are among the prettiest of sparrows, but they rarely cooperate for me. Nice close-up showing the beautiful patterns on the chest. A little dark, and some blue cast apparent in the whites, try raising the exposure and the warmth of the WB.

Nice sparrow and pose. Sharp and with good details. I think the bird could go a bit brighter and wish for a smaller perch. BG is also very good.
