Lovely lighting on the owl and surrounding environment Jonathan - shame though that there is no eye contact.

Excellent image, with the back-lit Owl swooping down.
I photographed Owl in a similar situation.
They focus on the prey.
It would be impossible to have an eye contact, even unnatural IMO.
Love the way it is, Jonathan.
