Serious close-up. Beautiful species and love the draped wing. Exposed well. Looks like the critical focal point is on the wing, witch is awesome, but the head is a tiny bit soft to me. You must have been very close. Also the artifacts in the BG could be worked on. Nice shot.

Thank you David, good suggestions. A little higher f stop would probobly have done the trick. I will look for those artifacts.

Nice bird and nice close up. Nits have already been mentioned. A horizontarl crop would have worked better IMO. This crop looks too tight and lacking "negative space".
By carefully selecting the background only, you can get rid of most of the artifacts by applying surface blur at around Radius: 5 Threshold: 10.
