Satish, very nice image. The pose and head angle are great. I would give it a round of NR on the bg and some selective sharpening on the bird. Also add a bit of contrast to the bird to give it more pop.

Satish:

Good comments from Miguel. I think the reeds make a very interesting perch with strong lines, like the stretched out feet, head position, and easy to see why it has both names!

Def a bit more NR on the BG.

Cheers

Randy

Agree with above critiques. Really like those feet and the lines of the reeds. Head is not looking sharp here. I think there is better focus on the feet.

I like the way you have composed the image. My first thought was a horizontal might have worked better,
but the longer I look at the image, the more I like this vertical presentation. Miguel pretty much covered
any suggestions for improvement....Nice light quality on this one as well.

Hi Satish, The re-post looks allot better. The OP had that same slightly washed look as the lapwing. The contrast and sharpening made the difference. Exellent photo.

The repost is nice, I always appreciate the birds you post from your part of the world that I don't get to see.
This looks very much like a Grosbeak in North America, very pretty bird, nice perch and BG.

Extra tweak in the repost makes it extra good Satish, and rather like the crossed over leaves too....." X marks the spot "
