Shooting these guys was very challanging to say the least.
Finally I switched from 500 to 70-200 and got some shots but this was the only good.
Thanks for looking.

Lovely BG, Karl and I agree, they are a very tough subject to get in flight.
Nice job.

Very nice shot!
I really like the pose, great background, nice details, and great comp.
Very well done.

Nice capture. I like the HA, tucked wing position and the fanned out tail. Exposed well but looks like its a bit soft on my monitor due to motion blur. Not sure if it just me. 1/1000 might be a little slow for these fast guys. Well done..

I have to agree with David, I normally always use a SS of 1/3200 or more. Good try though, maybe next time.

Very nice timing, but I agree that the SS was just a bit too slow. May also be the focus point, not sure. Either way, now you know for next time!

Great job getting him in the frame and love the BG but agree a faster SS would have helped here.

Karl:

The look back pose is excellent, with great tail display. Some loss of detail in the whites on cheek.

Shutter speed the major concern as mentioned.

Cheers

Randy

Pretty sick (meaning very cool!) flight pose...
Great background colors.
A bit too much motion blur here to not be noticeable imo.
