Gorgeous image of Honeycreeper. Excellent exposure.Wonderful colors.Great composition.Lovely set-up with beautiful lights,perch and backdrop.
Just love it.First time seeing this beauty.

WOW!, impossible color on this bird ! 100% brilliant Jim, his/her plumage is so nicely lit and with a perfect perch, perfect backdrop and the eye is amazing....enviable photo, why isn't it mine ?

What a grogeous bird, offset with the background has made a superb shot. Very cool perch and love the yellow on the beak. Great job!

This is natural light only Dan. You should buy that ticket and go. Costa Rica is a beautiful country with great people.

Wow, what a beautiful bird and capture. The colors are awesome and the exposure and details are perfect. Nice comp too. Pretty stunning image.

What a color indeed. Great set up. Maybe higher ISO and more DOF for the back part of the perch? I'm being picky here :-). Nice one.

Beautiful. Great colors, nice head turn, well lit. Funny you should have posted this when you did. I was just thinking I might post my image of one of these guys, from my trip to Panama last Spring, but yours is much better. Well done.

Wow, that bird is killer good looking!
Very nicely captured here sir...nicely sized perch too.
Excellent image all around. Wish the perch did not get
visually interesting at the left edge of the frame like it does, as it pulls my eye just a little....
