This image was captured at Giant's Castle, Drakensberg.
The canvas was rotated but no filling in was done; dust spot removed near the right-hand wingtip.

Cool looking Raven and nice capture. Huge upper mandible on this species. Im ok with the going away shot but the IQ has suffered a little bit from what looks like heavy cropping. Noise in the blacks. Maybe loosen up the crop and run some NR. Great BG too.

Hi Pieter, well exposed on the blacks, and love the show of the primaries on the far wing. This view does show off the top view and fanned tail, but having him flying parallel to you would have created a better in flight image. Killer GC BG. I agree with David that the IQ has suffered a bit which looks like a big crop.

What a cool pose and a gorgeous background. Handsome bird. I wish at least you had gotten a look back, as the flying away pose makes me feel not as engaged without that.

Nice looking Raven shot, Although it is flying away from you it is still good as it has a slight head turn towards you.
