This was taken at a local conservation area. I like the nuthatch like pose. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Very nice shot.
I really like the upside down pose, wonderful background, great perch, and excellent details.
Well done.

Hi Jim,
I like the pose and the BG.
Good composition as well.
I might sharpen the head a bit.

Unusual pose for a warbler or just rare to see. Nice image, Jim. Fill flash would have worked for you benefit here.

Love the comp here, great job placing the diagonal perch in ULC with the warbler hang down from it! Yes, unusual pose, and it works quite well. Lovely BG too. I too think some fill would have helped, but in post you couild lighten the face, shoulders and back just a bit. A visually very strong image!

Hi Jim, the curved pose must be stretching every tiny muscle in his body. Good diagonal perch, well placed in the frame, and love the hint of blues in the BG.

Excellent Jim, very different and I like it. I would also lighten shadow area's and add some sharpening to the eye.

What an acrobat! I love this pose. Almost makes me feel dizzy looking at it. I was sure it was a nuthatch too when I saw the thumbnail.
I can see the need for a touch of dodging to lighten. But overall a wonderful capture, Jim! Great comp and BG.

Quite a unique pose you captured here, Jim. I might sharpen the bird's head just a tad and give it a slight bit of space on top.

I consider this image to be a home run in regards to warbler photography.
The female warblers are so under-represented in the avian forums, it's awesome
to see a great image of the female of this species, and yes, what a unique pose!
The pose sets this apart from any other female black throated blue warbler image
I've seen. I think the composition is excellent, particularly with the blue in the
lower right hand corner, in regards to the flow of the image and a visual exit point.
