Alligator Farm and Gatorland...Which Order

If I make it thru the weekend without James throwing me overboard,
I'm planning on visiting the Alligator Farm and Gatorland on Monday
(May 5).

Any suggestions to which order I should hit these places up?

I'm thinking the Alligator Farm first (purchase a photo pass at the
gate), then head for Gatorland and purchase the extra $10 sunset option.

Well, Doug they are about 2.5 hours apart, so if coming from the west side of Florida Gatorland would be the place to start first then drive to St Augustine.

Also, Doug your website is very nice, but very slow loading.

I'm not worried about the drive apart. I'm looking to get the best light at both
places...or maybe one is worthy enough to stay all day?

If I lived in Florida, I wouldn't have to worry about this :)

I think your suggested order will work out fine. However if you are going to spend $70 for the AF for just the morning, I would go to Gatorland and get the one-day pass and save money (pass and gas costs ) and a lot of trouble driving. You will get plenty of action at Gatorland.

Trust me the action will be well worth the effort at Gatorland. Tell Mike we (Robert and Maxis) sent you!! :)

I really hate to say this Doug, but if your only day to shoot is Monday, you're better off going to St.Augustine for the full day. The "Dawn to Dusk" option at Gatorland is every Tuesday through Saturday. There is no early/late entry to Gatorland on Sunday or Monday. Robert and Maxis are right... there is a LOT of action at Gatorland right now, so if you do have another day come on over!

I'm still leading toward Gatorland though, especially since its
only an hour away from where I'm staying. Plus I have to tell you
that Robert and Maxis sent me :)
