Congratulations John!!
Went back to the Basilica today with a different lens set...and quickly discovered why folks like tilt-shift lenses for architectural images when shooting wide angle :e3. Eight shot HDR, 17-40mm@17mm, f/11. Merged and tonemapped in Photomatix Pro. Did a bit of perspective editing, a touch of NIK Detail Extractor, a layer of Topaz BuzzSim in the Color Blend Mode on a low opacity. Evicted a speaker hanging on the wall on the LHS, and then, for a slightly different look and texture, I then added a touch of Oil Paint. I think I'm addicted :w3...comments and suggestions welcome.
