While out birding last week I came across a flock of 70+ Chipping Sparrows in eastern Massachusetts. While scanning them for rarer birds (I.E. Clay-colored), the Chipping Sparrows were landing quite close on great perches, so I kept repeatedly getting distracted!

Ryan, liking it a lot. all that FG and BG blur adds a lot. Sparrow is killer sharp. light angle and subject angle both look good. Liked the pano crop as well.

Well done.

The bird and perch are very sharp and well exposed. The bg is just right.

I really enjoy the setting with the chipper in the conifer. The surrounding
blur has isolated the subject nicely. The only compositional aspect that
I think could be better is if you had moved to your left slightly when composing
the image to (possibly) eliminate the sky window in the upper left corner. It's
brightness pulls my eye from the subject and from the space that the sparrow
is looking into. Actually, filling that space in with post processing to make it
more cohesive with the background green color(s) is a worthwhile consideration
imo. Regardless, it's a very nice frame.
