We have a nice bat roost near Sacramento and I have been doing my best to photograph them leaving for the evening. I had to shoot at ISO 6400 and do some NR but I like the results. I was using flash with a better beamer +1 but it didn't seem to reach on this frame. I removed a few bats from the edges and one oof bat also. This is about a 10% crop. C&C welcome.

The fact you can really make out the wing structure identifying them as bats makes this work so well. BG nicely patterned in different colors. Very cool.

I agree with Robert, an interesting and different shot. Can definitely tell that they are bats. Well done. There's a faint dust spot above the 2 bats in the llc.

I love this Dan. The distinct silhouetted wings and the sweet BG layered colours makes this interesting and refreshingly different.

Ditto the dust bunny :e3
